Golden House provides safety and support for victims of domestic  abuse while leading efforts to end domestic violence in our community.

As a private nonprofit, they respond to the needs of victims and educate our  community on the prevalence, effects, and prevention of domestic abuse.

They help all victims find their path to live free of physical, emotion, and financial abuse.

With community agencies, they work to build a community knowledgeable and responsive to the trauma and needs domestic abuse victims face in their healing journey.

In addition to the silent auction donations, we are once again asking each Child  Support Agency to donate ONE item (wrapped) for the “Mystery Baskets”. The size and cost of your mystery donation is up to each Child Support Agency.

Mystery Baskets include several individually wrapped mystery gift donations! Tickets will be sold for $5 each; 5 for $20; or 10 for $40.

All proceeds from the silent auction donations and tickets sold for the “Mystery Basket”  items will be donated to Golden House

We always set our goals high – and are hoping to increase our charitable contribution  from our previous 2022 campaign where we presented $7,045 to Studio 84.

**************************************

If you are considering a donation for the silent auction, here are a few  details:

1. Donations can be a basket, box, wheel barrel, truck full, or standalone item.

2. Donators should create an Announcement or Display of your donation.

• Be sure to clearly write the estimated value of the donation on your announcement and list the items in your basket.

3. Send an email to Becky Fry with the name, value, and description of your donation prior  to the Fall Conference so that we can ensure there is room for all donations.  • We also use this information to make the Bid Sheets.

4. Any basket with a value of $200 or more will have a starting bid at 25% of the  baskets value (i.e. $200 value, starting bid will be at $50). This is in hopes of getting higher bids for the higher valued baskets!
